Virgin Mifi
The $150 Virgin MiFi Device

Virgin announced their new MiFi service and device recently, and it seems to be getting rave reviews. The Virgin MiFi device will cost $150, and is pretty much the same thing that is offered by Sprint, Verizon, and other internet service providers recently. The Mifi allows unlimited connections and acts as it’s very own WiFi hot spot for all your devices. You can use it in the car, at a hotel, at work, or just for your home. The differences between Virgin’s MiFi and other services is as follows:

  • Virgin’s plan is for unlimited internet. Yes, you can use all your devices with this connection, and never have to worry about exceeding your bandwidth limit.
  • There is no contract required. You just buy the device and than pay for service month to month. If you are traveling one month and need it, you don’t need to continue paying for service when it’s not in use other months.
  • Virgin MiFi costs only $40 per month. This is compared to the $60 rate that AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint all charge for similar devices, which all need contracts and have bandwidth limitations.
