Justin Tennison, a fisherman on Discovery Channel's "The Deadliest Catch," has passed away at 33.

Tennison was found dead in a Homer, Alaska, hotel room Tuesday along with "a small amount of marijuana, as well as several bottles of alcohol in the refrigerator," TMZ reports.

ustin Tennison, one of the stars of reality TV fishing drama Deadliest Catch has been found dead, a year after castmate Captain Phil Harris passed away.

Police discovered the body of engineer/deckhand Tennison in a hotel room in Homer, Alaska on Tuesday; and TMZ.com reports that drugs and alcohol were found in the room.

He was 33.

'Deadliest Catch' crewman found dead as tragedy again strikes Discovery Channel hit

Justin Tennison, a 34-year-old crew member on a vessel featured on Discovery Channel's hit "The Deadliest Catch," was found dead Tuesday in an Alaska hotel room.

Tennison worked as an engineer on the Time Bandit, a fishing vessel led by Andy Hillstrand and his brother Johnathan.

A Reuters report said that Tennison died of unknown causes. Gossip site TMZ reported police found drugs in his room, although an autopsy has not yet determined the cause of death.

Andy Hillstrand's Facebook page offered a tribute: "Justin was tough as a bull and was an all-around good hand. The Captains and Crew appreciated his hard work and many contributions this past year. ‘Deadliest Catch’ Star Gone Too Soon

Deadliest Catch star Justin Tennison’s body was found unresponsive in a hotel room Tuesday, according to TMZ.

Police arrived to the Best Western Bidarka Inn in Homer, Alaska after receiving a call at 12:52 p.m. Tennison, 33, was lying in bed unresponsive.
