Sweet Child O' Mine: Fergie, Slash make us long for Axl Rose

We already told you how we really feel about the Black Eyed Peas' horrific Super Bowl halftime performance, but Fergie's rendition of "Sweet Child O' Mine" really is just unforgivable.

Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash made a welcomed appearance during the ill-fated performance, but Fergie's vocals just couldn't pull it together to do Axl Rose justice.

We love being reminded of the classic tune, but unfortunately this is not a cover we'll be replaying on iTunes again in the near future. Or... ever. This isn't the first time the Black Eyed Peas have given Guns N' Roses their best effort, as they often perform the first verses during live shows.

Wonder what Slash thought of the whole debacle ? ( Read Sweet Child of Mine more... )

Slash and Fergie –Sweet Child of Mine

The best halftime show ever. here is Slash and Fergie singing Sweet Child of Mine:

Sweet Child of Mine: Lyrics to Sing to The Girl Growing in Your Belly

Watching the Super Bowl halftime show, I was reminded how often I used to sing Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N’ Roses to Joleen when she was in my belly. I also used to sing it to her all the time when she was first born. Sweet Child of Mine was the perfect song to sing while breastfeeding and rocking. Do you sing to the baby in your belly? What songs do you like to sing? ( Read Sweet Child of Mine more... )

Black Eyed Peas Halftime Show Brings Sweet Child Of Mine To Super Bowl

This evening the Black Eyed Peas teamed up RnB singer Usher and rocker Slash to entertain the millions of people who tuned in to watch the Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 31-25 during the half time celebrations of Super Bowl 45th which was held at the Cowboys Stadium located in Arlington, Texas Sunday.

While Christina Aguilera missed few notes while singing the national anthem, the Peas composed of Will.i.am, Fergie, Taboo, and apl.de.ap were able to put on a fine show during the halftime with the help of some sparkly back up dancers.

The pop/urban group rocked the stage as they performed some of their hit songs which included “I Gotta Feeling,” “Boom Boom Pow,” “Pump It,” “Let’s Get It Started,” “Where Is the Love?” and “The Time (Dirty Bit).” ( Read Sweet Child of Mine more... )
