Alicia Keys’ Baby, Egypt, Is a Boy And A Libra!

Alicia Keys and hubby Swizz Beatz gave birth to a baby boy on Thursday, October 14, which makes him a Libra, instead of a Scorpio as expected.

The happy parents named him Egypt Daoud Dean, and so far there are no Alicia Keys baby photos, but hopefully soon! The due date for Key’s first baby was supposed to be in November, so he is a teeny bit early, and although reps for the couple have confirmed to People that the baby is a boy, no word yet on his condition. Hopefully all is well with the newest member of the family! Swizz Beatz tweeted on Thursday evening that he was “so thankful for everything I have been blessed with in my life,” and I’m optimistic that means all is well with little Egypt. His name is a little odd, but with his lineage, I’m positive he can make it through life without too many scars.
