Future Music 2011
After much anticipation and wish-listing, now is the time to get acquainted with the 2011 Future Music Festival line-up. And what a monster it is. The bods at Future said to expect the biggest and most varied bill yet, and that promise has certainly been delivered. A host of DJs and live acts spanning techno, hip hop, trance, indie, electro and pop is set to go large across the country next March.

True to the hint of those conveniently-timed headline shows, top billing goes to rave pioneers The Chemical Brothers, whose live show has only got more sensorially intense. Meanwhile, festival experts Pendulum and Dizzee Rascal are sure to go down a storm, while UK trendsetter Mark Ronson brings his big band cool to proceedings. And wait, is that the Ke$ha? And is that you watching Ke$ha, secretly or otherwise? – Head over here to play Six Degrees of Ke$ha-Separation and see how the popstar strangely works on the lineup!

For The Likes Of You tent, there’s a heavyweight presence thanks to Richie Hawtin’s mind-melting ‘Plastikman live’ show, Future Music Festival mascot Sven Vath and protégé Loco Dice. As hoped for, the mighty Sander Van Doorn is the trance headliner and Steve Angello’s on-board to bring the anthems. Last but certainly not least, fans will be jumping out their skin at the news that ‘90s electronic icons Leftfield will be there, live and very loud.

Behold the Future Music Festival 2011 line-up. For breaking news and updates, head to the festival page on inthemix and ‘Become A Fan’. While you’re getting gee’d up for the festival, grab a free Chemical Brothers download on us!
