All this week The View is featuring people who were famous for som dubious reasons. Today’s guest was Jessica Hahn. Hanhn had an affair with televangelist Jim Bakker. Bakker went to prison for paying hush money to Hahn. During their discussion Barbara Walters chastised Hahn for having an affair with a married man and Hahn responded that Walters had admitted having had an affair with a married senator in her book Audition. Walters got indignant and said they were there to discuss Hahn’s life not hers, but it was a priceless moment. It just was ironic that this group of women have no problem asking any of their guests anything and when a guest slightly turns the table the host becomes uncomfortable. NY attorney for Joey Buttafuoco, Jessica Hahn is suspended for billing, supervision errors

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. — A New York attorney whose clients have included Joey Buttafuoco and Jessica Hahn has been suspended from practicing law for a year and a half.

Dominic Barbara was cited for billing errors and improper staff supervision. An appellate court found him guilty of professional misconduct. It noted he has received 20 sanctions between 1988 and 2009, including nine letters of caution.

AT&T-Dish Network deal seen as a go, despite EchoStar's plan to buy Hughes

EchoStar's intent to buy Hughes Communications shouldn't have any impact on AT&T's (NYSE: T) interest in acquiring Dish Network (Nasdaq: DISH) and EchoStar, a Wall Street analysis said.

"This acquisition really does nothing to jeopardize, or for that matter enhance, a long-rumored deal between AT&T and Dish," Paul Ausick wrote on 24/7WallSt.com. The bigger question, he continued, is whether regulators will allow such an AT&T satellite acquisition to happen because "terrestrial cable broadband providers Time Warner Cable and Cablevision Systems are certain to object." Hughes shareholders get $60.70/share, which is less than Friday’s closing price of over $61/share, but a 31% premium over Hughes’ price on January 19th, the date on which speculation about the deal hit the news. I have to admit that me and my family have liked Fox news most of the time. They seem to really give you the news that most others will not. Well this time I am not on their side at all. Fox news caught switching the footage made my blood boil.

Reports are coming out that Fox news falsely portrayed footage from previous CPAC events as the current event in an attempt to paint Ron Paul negatively.

The footage shown on Fox was actually footage of a small group of Mitt Romney supporters booing Paul the previous year. However in 2011, this did not actually occur.

Reporter Stroke, CBS News correspondent Serena Williams suffered an apparent stroke on the air on Sunday, as she frantically slurred her words during a show at the Grammy Awards, according to a video and news from Business Insider. Branson, a double Emmy nominee, began her piece with a smile on her face but her expression quickly turned to one of fear that the right side of her face began to droop slightly as she spouted words incomprehensible and I tried to turn the air above a newscaster at the station’s CBS affiliate.

iFixit: Apple TV has 8GB of onboard flash storage

One of the big questions concerning whether or not the new Apple TV will be able to run apps of some sort is "how much onboard RAM does it have?"

That question has been answered by the guys at iFixit, who as usual, have been the first to tear apart and document the internal workings of the Apple TV. The answer: 8GB of NAND flash RAM made by Samsung. The iFixit team speculates that the RAM is most likely going to be used to cache incoming video streams, but it might also be used to temporarily hold apps that could run under iOS on the device.

TVs go black in Cablevision, Fox dispute

Three million Cablevision subscribers in the New York area awoke to black screens Saturday after News Corp. escalated its dispute with the cable provider.

News Corp. immediately released a statement titled "Cablevision Drops Fox" to explain why viewers of WNYW Channel 5 were missing "The Simpsons" and WOR Channel 9 was not showing "Tyler Perry's House of Payne," The New York Times reported.

Cablevision quickly responded by broadcasting a voiceover listing a host of grievances against News Corp., Fox's owner, including accusations of "extortion," "corporate greed" and "outrageous demands" as well as "holding their own viewers hostage" in the ongoing dispute over retransmission consent, the Times said.

The Federal Communications Commission has been trying to mediate the dispute. Cablevision has said it accepts the FCC offer, but Fox has declined to go to arbitration, noting that the FCC said in a 2007 case it "does not have the authority to require the parties to submit to binding arbitration."

"Cablevision needs to stop hiding behind a call for binding arbitration and negotiate in good faith," Fox said in a statement. "Direct business-to-business negotiation is the only way to resolve this issue, while also preserving the long-term stability of the broadcast system. We will continue to negotiate and are committed to putting all our resources towards reaching a fair resolution."

U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D.-N.J., said in a statement it is "inexcusable that Fox would rather hold consumers hostage than engage in further negotiations."
