Former Melon Kinenbi Hitomi Saito getting married!~

Jiro Hachimitsu of Tokyo Dynamite and former Melon Kinenbi leader Hitomi Saito have married. Hachimitsu’s management notified the media of the marriage on Tuesday.

According to Yoshimoto Creative Agency, Hachimitsu has been a Melon Kinenbi fan for a long time, and he often attended their live performances. He became acquainted with Saito through a friend, and the two started dating around the beginning of this year.

Melon Kinenbi broke up in May, and Saito announced her retirement from show business. It is said that Hachimitsu proposed shortly after that. The two reportedly have no plans for a wedding ceremony or reception. It is also being stated that Saito is not pregnant. Hachimitsu was previously in a relationship with adult star Sora Aoi (26) from 2006 to early 2009.

Bulgarian Mystery Voice Stefka Sabotinova Passes Away

Stefka Sabotinova, celebrated and universally loved Bulgarian folk singer, passed away at the age of 80 Friday.

Sabotinova was born April 2, 1930 in the village of Rozov Kladenec in Bulgaria's southern Stara Zagora region.

She grew up nourished by the live heritage of Thracian folk singing, and started singing at the young age of five. Later Sabotinova took up traditional music as a vocation, after winning an entry contest for Bulgaria's top professional folk choir in 1954.
For many years, Sabotinova was part of Bulgaria's premier folk ensamble Filip Koutev, in which she gained worldwide recognition. In the seventies she also participated in the Bulgarian State Television Female Vocal Choir, better known abroad as “The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices.”

In 1975 she was recruited for the project of Swiss music producer Marcel Cellier, which resulted in a number of recordings bearing the name of “Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares” that brought the tension-riven beauty of the Bulgarian traditional song to the wider world.

In June 2010 Sabotinova received Bulgaria's highest state recognition, the Stara Planina Order.

The singer made an enormous contribution to the preservation and furthering of Bulgarian folk heritage. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s she also played an active role in a number of social activities for the benefit of disadvantaged children. She was a self-professed avid hunter and nature-lover.

Game Play and Cosmetics

* Added a new gold mechanic to the game

"Reliable Gold" - Any bounty you get from hero kills or from the extra "aoe kill gold" bonus (feature from few patches ago) is added to your Reliable Gold pool.

"Unreliable Gold" - It is everything else (creep kills, neutrals, etc).

Dying can only take away gold from your Unreliable Gold pool and not from your Reliable Gold. Buying items uses up your Unreliable Gold first before using your Reliable Gold.

An example: You have 910 total gold (500 Unreliable, 410 Reliable). If you buy Boots of Speed, you'll have 410 total gold left (0 Unreliable, 410 Reliable). However, if you bought Chainmail, you would have 360 Reliable Gold left.

The process is seamless to the user, you won't have to do anything extra to make it work. Your total gold is still displayed in the same place. Your Reliable Gold is displayed in your scoreboard title.



This is a new experimental idea that may be adjusted and tweaked over time depending on feedback and results after it is released. As always, let me know anything you want to see in future versions.

Buyback uses reliable gold first. There are some other plans and ideas for buyback adjustments in the future but I would like to see these changes stabilize first before considering further stuff. There may also be some other changes related to the aoe bounty in the future but I want to take it slow one step at a time and see how this change is reflected in games first.

Comedian Baek Nambong Dies of Lung Cancer

Comedian Baek Nambong died of lung cancer on July 29 in Seoul, according to his family. Dying at age 71, the man was known throughout his life for his talent in impersonation.

Baek Nambong, or Park Dushik (which was his real name), was known for being a chain smoker up until 1988, but this habit haunted him even after he quit, as it caused his cancer. He was receiving continuous treatment at a Seoul rehabilitation center, but his health persisted in worsening, even after he was admitted to an intensive care unit.

Baek Nambong was known for being able to imitate anything that could make a noise, including chickens, trains, boat whistles, guns, and drunkards. Fellow comedian Lee Bongwon reflected on Mr. Baek’s skills, saying ‘He performed solo stand-up comedy for 30 years. It’s an amazing talent to be able to pull off a solo stunt for 20 to 30 minutes, which is difficult even for young comedians today.”



Mr. Baek received a funeral service for his death a few days ago, which assisted in commemorating his life’s work to his admirers.

Here is a bizarre bit of news coming out of the pipeline explosion in Nanjing, China that killed 13 people and injured 300, and not it is not the news that 4 people were arrested - it is this remarkable photo of monkey grabbing a puppy dog and running away from the explosion and fire.

The Nanjing explosion and fire occurred as workers were tearing down an abandoned plastics factory.
The explosion reportedly occurred when a pipeline carrying ethylene gas was damaged while workers using diggers were dismantling buildings and retrieving parts that could be resold, Xinhua news agency reported.

The leaking gas was ignited when a nearby motorist started their car engine, according to the local work safety administration.

Police have arrested three construction contractors and a factory official responsible for work safety at the site, Xinhua said.
