New Delhi: Commonwealth Games 2010: The Indians have lost their second spot at the medal tally list, as England have managed to clinch 77 medals altogether.
In the gold medal rush, India is in neck-to-neck fight with English. India is looking to increase the gold lead. In today’s game 2 gold medals are expected in tennis and 3 more in shooting.
Sania Mirza would be playing the women’s single final against an Australian player. At the same time, Somdev Devvarman would be playing his final match against another Australian in the Men’s Single.
Earlier, Devarrman emphatically defeated Matt Ebden of Australia 6-3, 6-1. After winning the game, Devvarman said, “It’s huge. Today was one of my biggest days.”
If Indians manage to grab 5 gold medals, they would be reaching to 25 gold medals. All eyes would be on the Indians today.
