Cast - Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai, Danny Denzongpa, Karunas, SanthanamEndhiran, all these days had been creating never before hype and expectation about the movie and it touched zenith this week. Has the movie satisfied the expectation and the hype it created? The answer is, yes. The movie lives to the expectation of both rajini fans and movie goers.

The story of the movie is one line and it is, Dr Vaseegaran (Rajinikanth) is a scientist with a mission. He wants to create the first humanoid robo which would not only serve tea and coffee to it's master but would have the power to serve humanity in more meaningful ways.

He creates Chitti, the humanoid robo who resembles him and is willing to do anything for the master. Trouble begins when he oversteps and teaches the machine to have human feelings. Chitti falls in love with the scientist's girl friend, Sana (Aishwarya Rai) and ends up becoming an almost undefeatable rival in love, courtesy the red chip that a rival scientist (Danny Denzongpa) infuses in him. Can the creator tame the rogue robot that he created with a mission or will the machine overpower it's master?

The movie begins with a waist height robo delivering a bouquet of flowers from Sana to Scientist Vaseegaran, who is busy creating his 10 year dream, a humanoid. No fancy introduction scenes for Rajini, none needed also.

The following scenes do not have punch dialogues either. So from the 5th minute of the movie you would understand that this is not a typical rajinikanth film and it is a shankar film. So it has all the elements of a typical shankar film and rajini has underplayed his role despite his mass hero image.

More than two years of sheer hardwork, dedication and determination of the entire team of endhiran is evident frame by frame.

I wont say that there are no loopholes or logicless scenes but when compared to the overall movie it is only like a mar in a human body.

But the movie surely leverages the indian/tamil cinema industry to another level, in some way on par with the hollywood cinema with a one tenth of the budget of hollywood movies.

Work of every artist right from oscar winning music director, sound engineer to cameraman ratnavelu and team is eveident in each and every scene. Big kudos to them.

Want to see what moviegoers and fans say? Go, watch Robot. It is a never to miss kind of a movie and worth the money you will spend the money spent on the big budget film. The last 30 minutes of the film are literally the cultivation of overall work.

This is an indian/tamil movie that can be gifted to the rest of the world as a present to prove the talent of tamil cinema if budget is available as all its technicians are tamilians except for few of them.

We wish endhiran team and lauds it for its sheer magic of entertainment.
