Christmas Tree Farms
Chanda Van Slyke and her sister Courtney Easterling were on a mission Saturday.

Their challenge: Find the perfect Christmas tree.

Christmas Tree farms are popping up all over the country as the demand for live but sustainable trees is met. Nothing smells better than a live tree and if it's harvested from a sustainable Christmas Tree farm and then recycled then there is no impact to the environment.

For many families in Central New York, there's one holiday staple that will never be skipped or skimped on: the fresh-cut Christmas Tree Farms. Lucky for us, our region offers dozens of farmers working year-round to grow those beautiful green trees we bring into our homes this time of year.
