Charlie Callas Dies at 86
Charlie Callas has died.
The rubber-faced comedian was 86.
Callas had opened for Frank Sinatra in Las Vegas, and was a favorite of Mel Brooks, who cast him in a number of films including Silent Movie and High Anxiety.
He also starred on the TV series “Switch.”

Charlie Callas, the veteran comedian who punctuated his zany, character-oriented comedy routines with a bizarre array of facial expressions and sound effects, has died. He was 83.
