A new internet search platform is looking to be a game-changer in the lucrative search engine market, and it just might give Google a run for its money.

QWIKI, Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin, in conjunction with YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim, CEO of Juniper Networks and CTO Pradeep Sindhu, and venture capital investors have added $ 8 million into the coffers of Qwik start, which gives results research in multimedia, rather than links.

The latest round of funding – which has also received suggestions from Greylock, Lerer Ventures, Contour Ventures, Ventures and tug – Qwik means has raised a total of 9.5 million, including turn angel.
