The AP is reporting that residents of the islands that lie in the path of Hurricane Earl are setting up emergency shelters.

Airlines servicing the area have canceled flights on Sunday as newly born Hurricane Earl churned toward the northern Caribbean.

Additionally Cruise Ship lines have also diverted ships to avoid the storm’s path.
