Scout on Cam Newton: "We're not recruiting him"

Heisman winning quarterback and BCS Champion Cam Newton, of Auburn, will hold a workout in front of members of the media on February 10, 2011 but many are left wondering why?

The workout was organized by Newton's father, Cam Newton Sr., which has led to some questioning in the media about the thought process going in to the organization of the media workout session. The workout will not be open to NFL scouts looking to see what Newton can do and will only be open to the media, which is odd. ( Read Scouts Recruiting more... )

National Signing Day 2011: Taking a Look at Wisconsin Recruiting

Wisconsin had yet another great season under Bret Bielema in 2010-2011, but today is the day to stop looking at the past and start looking towards the future in college football.

National Signing Day has really never been too good to Wisconsin—it's a well respected program that people know of, but for some reason the top recruits don't have the desire to play for the Badgers.

2011 Recruiting Class Round Up - Updated

The day started off with the bad news that CB Kameron Jackson was headed to California. Jackson made the non classy move of letting everyone know on Twitter this morning. Soon after that word leaked out that OL Paulay Asiata was headed to Colorado. We have also heard the same thing about Stephan Nembot but he will announce later in the day.

I will update this list if any surprises come in but this seems to be where we will finish...of course that being said don't count Sark out. ( Read Scouts Recruiting more... )
