NBA All Star Weekend
NBA All-Star weekend: Rookies 71, Sophomores 69 at halftime

Blake Griffin scored four points on a pair of dunks, but he only played six minutes in the first half of the NBA-All Star Rookies-Sophomores game that was leisurely played in front of a rather tepid Staples Center crowd.

Timberwolves guard Wesley Johnson led the Rookies with 16 points. The Raptors' DeMar DeRozan and the Spurs' DeJuan Blair each had 14 points for the Sophomores. ( Read NBA All Star Weekend more... )

NBA All-Star Weekend: Wizards' John Wall gets his first taste of all-star festivities

LOS ANGELES - John Wall couldn't travel 2,300 miles without doing it - not when he made his informal introduction to the NBA by bopping, dipping and flailing his arms about, and especially not when the league invited the rap group Cali Swag District to perform its hit single, "Teach Me How To Dougie," at halftime of the Rookie Challenge on Friday during all-star weekend.
