On the surface, the GaGuideStones can easily be mistaken as a cleverly disguised marketing ploy stemming from the aggregate locals of Elberton Georgia known for its rich blue granite, the hardest natural stone known to man. However, it seems the particular parcel of ground beneath the "Stones" holds a much deeper purpose than mere conincidence.

The site on which the guidestones stand is known as Al-yeh-li A lo-He, a sacred place that according to Cherokee Indian Legends locates The Center Of The Universe. Interestingly enough, the acacolyptic tone resonating the macob mystery appears rather ironic coming from a place that manufactures more tombstones than any other place on the earth, that is until we begin digging a bit deeper.
